Description[?]:
OOC: We all received the following mail from Moderation. I would like to hear your stance on the following: I have always known Lodamun as a nation without any specific ethnical group, since all races and ethnics are welcome in our nation. The nation is more about ideology than ethnics. How do you feel about this? Hi, As you may have already heard moderation are redrafting the game rules. As this is a major change there is a consultation period lasting until at least April the 4th. We would love to hear any feedback you have on our proposed rules. Proposed Rules: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Vo1SS1UamLCdVPXzn9bQ8As0GhBCUgQnCd0AksNNMCw Consultation Thread: http://forum.particracy.net/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=7767 As I said you are more than welcome to put forward your point of view and help us get the best rules we possibly can. One idea in particular that we have had is to centralise culture under the control of Moderation and the RP team. This would involve an index similar to the RP accord, which would be called the “Cultural Index,” and any nation who is opted in to the index would have their culture determined for them by Moderation. It would be possible to choose not to have your culture determined for you, simply by having your nation opt out of the index. As such we have created a Cultural Map of Terra that displays all the majority ethnic groups in each region. This would be used to construct more detailed descriptions of the Cultural makeup of each nations, and would act as a base on which Moderation provide cultures. As it stands the map looks like this: https://i.imgur.com/Z7JQXqZ.png?1 However we are more than open to change. We would love to hear your opinion specifically regarding the centralisation of culture and the cultural map on this thread: http://forum.particracy.net/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=7795 However you are more than welcome to give us any feedback you have via private messaging. Thanks a lot, Moderation |

Message | I don't feel like Lodamun should change to a one majority culture, I feel like it should stay as is honestly. I don't know if we would have to change the language of the name of the Nation, but that's not really appealing to me either. I can be flexible on this and i am interested in others opinions, but my initial thoughts on this is, I think Lodamun should stay culturally open. |

Message | OOC:I support the idea of being culturally open.Geographically we share the boundaries with an ocean and i think being culturally open is is very reasonable because of that. Ethnicity is not a character of Lodamese politics and as M13 mentioned our RPs mostly depended on ideologies and conflicts between them.(Yet i find RPs are not so active as they were before, well i shouldn't think like that because internet communities can't always be active every time ...but it is just one of my random thought) |

Message | OOC: About the RP: I haven't had much time and I think many of us can use their time in real life. But, I do feel we have a good combination of ideas in Lodamun at this stage, and I think we could do some RP pretty soon. |

Message | OOC: I pretty much agree that Lodamun should stay culturally open. From my time RPing within this nation, I can also confirm that the politics is more ideology-based and I don't believe it should change. While I much prefer it not to change, I'm open to trying it out in the event that it did change. |

Message | OOC: I believe the way this nation now is great and i believe no change to our country at this time. We oppose any changes. |
