| In order to create a more literate, well-read populace, the nation of Beiteynu shall provide for the creation of (and maintenance of) a nation-wide library system. Current law dictates that books are only available through private dealers... this law unnecessarily restricts access to only those citizens who can afford to pay for their books. It is our belief that citizens should have access to knowledge regardless of their economic status; to that end, we hereby propose the creation of the Beiteynu National Library. |
