Message | We are disappointed to see the MCP support this after pushing a highly successful compromise some time ago. Clearly the MCP is an unprincipled party. Mehmet Cenani Prime Minister |

Message | We agreed to a compromise as seen with the fact that we agreed to join a National Government and have stayed neutral and havent really pushed the Laicism issue, however we never promised that we would oppose or not support legislation which clearly speaks to our principles,we are sorry that the HEP thought we would leave our principle for the sake of their happiness |

Message | And we may also argue that we clearly have worked and favoured compromise since I was elected to replace Mr.Attila Özoğuz as President of the MCP a clear example of this would be our support for the Economic Reforms bill put forward by the JMP even though it doesnt exactly fall in line with our principles Mrs. Ülkü Turan President of the MCP |

Message | Very well, we suppose there's no more need for compromise on this issue then in the MCP but this hardly surprises us given the MCP's historical unpredictability. We remain committed to this essentially secular compromise which however respects religion and allow it autonomy and self-management. Our "happiness" was not served by this compromise like any compromise it required a lot of unhappiness for every involved. Mehmet Cenani Prime Minister |
