Description[?]:
This bill for an Act is to amend the current Malivia Foreign Policy Steering Committee Establishment Act Malivia Foreign Policy Steering Committee Establishment Act of year 4331, in keeping with the laws as prescribed in it, to which i hereby propose the following: As President, it is the agenda of the government through its foreign policy to formulate a new Foreign Policy approach for the state that will be geared toward increasing our international reputation and image while fostering regionalism. Thus, a steering committee once enacted, will be empowered with the responsibility to review all Treaties passed in national parliament preceding the year 4200, in deciding whether they should be withdrawn or kept. There shall be 9 members on the committee such as the President, Prime Minister, Foreign Affairs Minister (who is also the Nationmaster), Minister of Science and Technology and 1 representative from the four remaining political parties. A decision to recommend a treaty for withdrawal is done where there's a majority vote (5/9). However, the NationMaster/Foreign Affairs minister has veto powers where there's a simple majority vote in favour to block such recommendation from going forward. Where the Committee has recommended a Treaty for withdrawal, it shall then be brought to the legislature for a vote by any member. This bill, once passed into an Act, shall be reviewed after every election. Where Treaties are not recommended for withdrawal, They shall be placed in the debate section entitled *(RP)TREATIES http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=553258 This bill will be passed in accordance of game laws section 20, where it will need 5/9 parties supporting the bill and 50% of seats in legislature. |
