Bill: Cabinet Proposal of February 4341

Details

Submitted by[?]: Socialisma Respublika Partio

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: November 4341

Description[?]:

This is basically the same cabinet the People's Partio proposed a few months ago (OOC: http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=555784) but was scuppered by the inactive National Socialismo Partio not voting.

They have been dissolved (OOC: inactivated by the mods) now. So I hope this will pass, if it is everyone's wish to have a collaborative working government in which we can find some middle ground.

My thanks.

Tamrat Iskinder, SRPZ Leader

MessageA wise man once said:
"Having every party represented in government is not practical or healthy in a modern-day democracy."

This wise man was former SPRZ leader Zlatan Temelkido.
So can I assume that the SPRZ has reformed there position on all parties being represented in a nation? Or is this a ruse to have the progressive coalition stay in power?
I would like to hear Tamrat Iskinder on these statements.

MessageMr Fenisko Jr is quite correct. Mr Temelkido did go on the record and make that statement some years ago but I am my own man and have my own opinions on such things based on the facts in front of me and what our supporters tell us.

What I have learned from the Sankta Partio de Renaskigo and the People's Partio's example is that parties once at odds, and with very opposing views in certain areas, can work together in the best interest of the country. Zardugal is perhaps quite unique in that respect.

Simply put I want this to work because we need to find a way of blending social and progressive ideas with the capitalist-leaning economy that many people in this country desire.

Opposing one another has achieved nothing apart from a frustrating stalemate over the last 12 years, with very few policies proposed and fewer still passing. We have diminished on the international stage, treaties have not been signed and our military technology is in full retreat, I am afraid to say.

So I believe the best way that this can be achieved is to pool resources, pool our ideas and work in a co-operative manner. It is no ruse, I assure you and with hindsight Mr Temelkido may even have agreed with this.

I hope this answers Mr Fenisko's query.

MessageI am moved by Tamarat Iskinder's statements!

Our number one goal should be to restore the Republic and put Zardugal once again on the world stage.
And with the wars beginning across Terra, we need cooperation from all members of government.
We need to end the partisan fighting and we need to end the accusations of collusion, Mr. Fenikso.

I along with other members of SPR agree with SRPZ on this.
