MessageWhat possible reason could we have for lowering the minimum wage? Time and time again studies have shown that increasing the minimum wage does nothing to harm small businesses. This is just a thinly veiled attempt to give concessions to the corporate masters who own most of the capitalist parties in Dorvik.

MessageMr. Speaker,

I have to echo the comments of the VSV. Dorvik is one of the wealthiest nations in the world and there is no excuse at all not to pay our workers a decent wage.

MessageHerr Speaker,

We are not surprised the Communists do not know basic economics. A minimum wage is a price floor that distorts the markets. Likewise, it merely helps teenagers working part-time and not full-time workers with families. Keeping it low increases the purchasing power of consumers as it keeps prices low and fights inflation.

Margarete Kristina Mandel, Dr.WWS
Minister of Finance

MessageMr. Speaker,

If the Minister of Finance thinks low wages are so great, maybe she should try to live on one herself?

Random fact: Large scale RP planning (such as wars, regional/continental conflicts, economic collapse, etc.) should be planned (as best as it can be) and should have consent of a majority of players involved.
