| Recognizing that under current law prostitution is illegal, and seeing that it is foolish to believe that prostitution won't continue to occur without the government's permission, and seeing as keeping prostitution in the shadows brings with it considerable risk to sex workers and their safety, this bill would recognize prostitution as a legitimate profession and legalize it. |
