Bill: Government Accountability and Freedom of Information Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Vereinigte Sozialistische Volkspartei

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 4343

Description[?]:

Recognizing that under current law the government doesn't release classified documents to the public, and seeing as the government shouldn't be allowed to hide their secrets and get away with unsavory acts without public scrutiny, this bill would require that all classified documents that don't endanger national security be released after a certain amount of time.

MessageMr Chairman,

This is a very reasonable, very sensible bill and I hope all parties will support it. At least in usual circumstances, citizens have a right to know what their government is getting up to!

MessageVölkische Partei, what are you talking about? Time and time again you and your hard-right dogs have voted against the interests of the people and haven't once supported accountability or government responsibility at all. Don't call us on the left snakes until you actually start doing something to help the good people of Dorvik.
