Message | Mr. Speaker The current legislation ensures all schools follow the National Cirruclum already in place. The exemption allows Private and Charter Schools to go above and beyond or to focus on specific things should their Charters have a mandate to. Should we quash the rights of this non-government entities? If that's the case why are we allowing private Institutions and Charter Schools to begin with? Message | Mr. Speaker, Of course not. The point of this bill is not to stop private and charter School from having a specific prupose but more to regulate those very specific purposes. We will integrate every specific purpose and special mandate possible inside our curriculum. -Julia Buccho Minister of Education and Culture |
Date | 19:35:17, February 07, 2018 CET | From | Liberal Party of Hutori | To | Debating the Bill NNP-12: National Curriculum Act |
Message | Mr. Speaker Incorporating every small purpose and mandate means that every school will ultimately have the same Curriculum. If that's the case why should parents send children to Private Schools or Charter Schools at all if public schools will be offering the same programs?
