Message | Mr Speaker, Malpractice is the improper, illegal, or negligent professional activity or treatment provided by, in this case, a doctor. Illegal, improper, and/or negligent activities are not frivolous, and they never will be. By restricting consumer protections against such activities, medical practitioners would be allowed to cause non-lethal harm to their patients without any fear of the law, and therefore be less disciplined when carrying out their job. Because of this, the New Left can not, and will not, support this bill. Albert Lloyd Leader of the New Left |

Message | Mr Speaker, We introduced malpractise altogether, but it should never be allowed to extend the right to lawsuits for botched nose jobs or trivial matters which would be dealt with by the Licensing Authority in any regards. Money should never be the end game, therefore damages should only be awarded in the event of death. Nothing stops suspension and even striing off if the Licensing Authority deems worthwhile for any other offences or malpractise.
