Bill: Anti-Discrimination Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Kadima Beiteynu
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: August 4345
Description[?]:
It is currently left up to local governments as to whether or not diversity quotas are legal. The central government needs to take a decisive stance against hiring discrimination on the basis of race, gender, etc. There is simply no such thing as "positive discrimination." Two wrongs can never make a right, and discrimination is never the path to equality. The forced hiring of "marginalized groups" can only lead to resentment and unfairness. I call on the central government to ensure a level playing field for all, by changing our national policy on Positive Discrimination from "Hiring policies are regulated by local governments" to "No form of positive discrimination is permitted." |
