MessageIf you want a better gauge on how much in taxes we take, look at the government budget vs the GDP. Compare it to other countries. Our government spends less than 20% of the GDP. That's pretty damned sweet for the people, money-wise, all things considered.

MessageWe stand with the Civic Platform on this issue. We do not view this as a question of how much government spends vs. how much it takes in. It is a question of economic growth, job stability, attractiveness of our nation to industries which exercise choice over where they locate. We want our people to be fully employed, and we want our manufacturing sector to grow.

We wish to read the following statement, which we made on the floor of this legislature earlier in this very legislative session regarding an identical bill, and which we still stand by today.

We welcome this, we believe the adverse impact upon the deficit will be temporary. The money diverted from the government coffers will exert downward pressure on interest rates, by increasing the supply of money available to borrowers. It will stimulate job growth by making more money available for the financing of capital properties, plants, and capital equipment, for sales of automobiles and appliances. And it will make mortgages more readily available to first-time home buyers, which will not only allow citizens to convert from renters to homeowners, but will stimulate additional job growth in the form of new home construction. More directly, of course, it will stimulate immediate job growth in the big ticket luxury item sector.

We believe the revenue trough resulting from passage of this bill will be momentary and insignificant in contrast to the long-term economic growth.

MessageWe respectfully observe that the Anarchist Platform Party appears to be unaptly named. It displays little evidence of support for an anarchist society. It is not our business to offer critiques of how othe parties see fit to conduct their internal business, and hope our comments are accepted simply as an observation on the facts as they exists, and not an attempt to offer suggestions. But we can foresee on the part of the Anarchist either a rethinking on its positions, or the entertaining of a name change in its short term future.

MessageNaw, we just have a few specific ideals.

Thing is, the laws currently don't support the budget we want to propose. You'll pee yourself when you see it. :D

MessageWe wish to something point out, to those parties who may be opposing this on the basis that this is a tax cut. this is not a tax cut. This is a tax increase. This will place more money in the hands of the government, by expanding the tax base of workers earning salaries and paying income taxes.
