Bill: Common Sense™ Budget

Details

Submitted by[?]: Ffrynt y Druid

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill proposes to change the allocation of funds in the budget. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 4346

Description[?]:

Senators,

our budget of today is simply bonkers. We spend a ridiculous amount of money on wasteful sectors like Science, which the government hardly should be involved with anyway, and on Education and Foreign affairs, while neglecting our Health care system, our farms and our environment. This is an un-Loer, Dundorfian budget for the elites. Ours is one for ordinary people, its priorities deeply rooted in our nation's spiritual heritage.

MessagePublic education is the reason that the world has developed to the point it is at before. It allows poor children the ability to succeed in life. Public-funded science can help increase our understanding in areas that would be considered 'unprofitable'.

Obliterating the chances of poor children is based in ideological backwardness, not the real world.
