Bill: D.d.l 06/4345 Surrogacy Facilitation Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Partito Nazionale Democratico

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: February 4346

Description[?]:

Antonio Bravo, Minister of Health and Social Services,

We believe that promoting the founding of families is our duties, and allowing surrogacy to be not only altruistic but also gainful would play a major role in this promotion of families. Moreover, it may act as extra income for those that need it.

We hope all parties vote in favour of this truly benevolent bill.

"Mr Speaker,
this is the veritable face of this Government! An "extra income" the minister calls it! What a indecency! This would only generate a category of desperates which will litterarly sell their bodies due to economic difficult conditions! It is a cruel and inhumane legislation, written with the foot without thinking to the conseguences!
Why all parties should vote to this bill Minister Bravo? Why did you imagine this? Did you think we would have commended all this? NOT AT ALL!"

MessageAntonio Bravo, Minister of Health and Social Services,

We really do not understand your complaints. Where is the problem in offering your body for a good cause and receiving payment for that. This would allow many more families to have children as more surrogate mothers would be willing to undergo the procedure. Do you not think about the people who are unable to give birth to children by themselves and may find it hard finding such an altruistic woman to let herself suffer more or less for free?
