| Valentina Vitali, Spokeperson of AR: "Mr Speaker, in the past years of Governments of the Right our laws about the protection of the environment have been in practice stamped out. We allow the horrible hunting of the whale, we allow people to hunt animals on the brink of extintion and allow people to keep them instead than favurite their repopulation into their original habitats. Furthermore, we think that as developed nation, as one of the most developed nations, all our people has a major responsability in protecting the environment and we should also set an example, first of allowing the commercialization of fuels which respect the environment. For this reason we would like propose this bill to promote a more conscious management of our environment, for us but especially for the future generation and for the good of whole Terra. Thank you" |

| Message | Paolo Vespa-Baldassare, PNI/PNP Leader, Why does the left always believe that the answer lies in banning something? And then, instead of banning things like drugs and incest, they ban cars... I really do not understand. Our colour is a shade of green, dedicated to the environment, but we propose market-based solutions, which make pollution seem simply not worth it and leave the consumer a choice, and unlike drugs, possessing a car actually improves the people's lives! |
