MessagePart of me laughs when you go into this whole we need regulation in order to be free because of muh country. Keep it up the crowd is wild and cringe is in the air. As for me I'll throw a nice juicy tomato with the word NO stamped on.

The gig is up mate.

MessageOOC: Honestly, my main goal is to have a debate over the purpose of government. That was my major motivation behind joining this game. I sought out the country that had the perfect combination: run by a party that I politically opposed, with a relatively low number of other parties (to ensure that debate/compromise would be needed).

I can understand how having to debate things might be uncomfortable for someone used to having free reign, but I think you're more than up to the task. I'm not trying to convert you to statism or socialism or whatever you think I represent. My hope is that, even if we never come to an agreement, that we can understand each other's position. Who knows, you might actually be able to strengthen your own beliefs in the process.

If you want to talk about politics, it seems like Particracy is the place for it. If you don't want to do that, I have no idea why you're playing this game, but I wish you the best regardless...

MessageMy party would be willing to support the first two articles. However, my party opposes licensing of this sort. We believe that if someone grows olives in their garden, they should be able to sell them to their neighbors.

Random fact: In order for a Cabinet bill to pass, more than half of the legislature must vote for it and all of the parties included in the proposed Cabinet must support it. If your nation has a Head of State who is also the Head of Government, then the party controlling this character must also vote for the bill, since the Head of Government is also a member of the Cabinet. If any of these requirements are not met, the bill will not pass.
