Message | I strongly object to this bill. Its passage would be a step backwards (or several steps backwards) for Darnussia. |

Message | This is a regressive and illiberal proposal by what is cearly a conservative and backwards move, that will hurt the many people of Darnussia, cause suffering and misery to many people in Darnussia and harm the human and civil rights of Darnussians. Therefore we strongly reject and oppose this bill and what it stands for. |

Message | Down with Conservativism! Seriously now, let's analyze this: Article 1: not liberal, solitary confinement and life imprisonment is more effective. Besides, the death penalty can't be reversed if the person is found later on to be innocent Article 2: Nope. This takes away from a woman's right to choose. Article 3: Though we support privatization, some regulation is good. Article 4: I'll think about it. Otherwise, no. Article 5: I'd rather we reach a more balanced option on this. Article 6: This, again, massively takes away from our citizen's rights and liberties. This is simply against liberal democracy. Article 7: Why should I care what some people choose to do with their life? You know how hard it would be to enforce this archaic anti-drug law? Article 8: I'd rather keep the status quo on trade unions. Article 9: This is the only issue we support. |

Message | I am adapting the bill, however let me respond In regards to abortion, I think having the 3rd term illegal and the 1st and 2nd terms legal is a completely fair compromise. Most people recognize that abortion is wrong, and that it will happen anyway. This allows women who "must" have their abortion to have time to make the decision, but still makes Darnussians feel more comfortable with themselves on the subject. |

Message | But Darnussians are comfortable with themselves on the subject! Clearly, you do not realise that Darnussians are firmly pro-choice and hold dear their right to an abortion. Most Darnussians do not see abortion as 'wrong' for any religious moral reasons. Darnussians only dislike abortion because it can be damaging to the woman and it could be prevented by use of contraception or other means. While abortions are not ideal and should be used as a last resort, the solution is not to restrict abortions. The solution is to make contraception widely available to all Darnussians and provide counseling for pregnant Darnussian women. The government will discourage people from having an abortion and encourage them to use contraception, but it really is the woman's choice as to what she decides. Darnussian law, being entirely secular, has no place for religious moral objections to abortion. |
