The PNP wish to put forward a series of measures deigned to protect and enhance workers rights.

This is a landmark piece of legislation that amongst other things commits the government to;

- a minimum wage
- regulating daily working hours
- reducing unemployment amongst Tukarali citizens
- affording protection to those who go on strike
- provides extra freedom of action to Trade Unions and Democratic Workers Councils
- affords protection to sex workers

MessageThe new Minister for Trade and Industry Rufino Luz pushes this proposal to vote, he adds the following;

"This is a landmark piece of legislation designed to comprehensively protect workers rights in Tukarali. Full employment, protection of workers and freedom of activity for Trade Unions are essential items of the Progression National agenda. We have left these proposals for debate and not received any negative comments, so we hope that the National Assembly will endorse."
