Message | We will oppose this bill also, as the low gun ownership rate in Vorona is a good thing to prevent senseless massacre |

Message | Senseless massacre can also be prevented, though, through the ownership of guns by private citizens. Also, this massacre you speak of will not happen if we prohibit mentally ill or criminal individuals from buying guns. And if there were to be a massacre, it would be stopped by private gun owning citizens fighting back. |

Message | That argument simply isn't backed up by evidence or experience. A “good guy with a gun" can often fail to hit the target, and may even kill more people. It's also easy to see that if the overall stick of guns in Vorona increases then their is more of a chance of someone still unable to buy them because of issues around mental health issues being able to obtain one. |

Message | We do understand your concerns, and would there be any way to compromise on the articles of the bill? |

Message | We appreciate your attempts to reach out for a consensus, which bodes well for the future, unfortunately we struggle to see where we could compromise on this issue |

Message | Would removing article 1 change your stance on the bill? |

Message | Unfortunately not, if someone is going to shoot up a group of innocent people I don't think they'll be worried about whether they can carry their weapon concealed or not, we can't let them get their hands on weapons at all |

Message | Thank you for the input, but before moving this forward, we would like to hear the opinions of the other two parties holding seats. |

Message | We agree with Cons., but unfortunately, CPV is going to vote no. It is so freaking, that sensible opinions do not defeat unsensible ones. |

Message | We would like to ask directly to the CrFPOV to participate in the current parliamentary commission if they really love to talk about "sensible and unsensible opinions". We can make a compromise, but first you need to specify clearly how does it work this new license conditions. |

Message | Just like you need practice and tests to get a drivers license, a gun license would be similar but to a more extreme extent. The adult that would like to own a gun must go through hours upon hours of classroom time to understand situations when to use a gun, the parts of a gun, and gun safety. Not only will they be doing classroom time, but the teachers will be evaluating during that time if they are in the right psychological mindset to own a gun. Next, the applicants would go through hands on time with certified, professional instructors to teach them aim, recoil control, upon other things. In the end the applicants would have to take a written test on the topics discussed in school, a hands on exam on how to use a gun properly, and a psychological exam by psychologists. If they have passed all this then there will be licensed to only own the gun that they practiced and learned with, as each type of gun requires different training. This is not to the extent our party wants for a gun reform bill, but we are more that happy to compromise for more logical gun control laws. |
