Bill: Majatran Republic Act 4361

Details

Submitted by[?]: al-Jabha al-Qawmi al-Ma'atrani

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: December 4361

Description[?]:

The current title of Badara, the People's Republic of Badara, aswell as the flag, are remnants of an old and disgraced Badara, hated and rejected by the whole of Terra. Modern Majatra has changed, and a new title and flag are necessary to show the changes which have occurred over the course of the last 300 years. Hence the Majatran National Front proposes the following Act;

Article 1
The new title of Badara shall be, "al-Jumhūrīyah al-Majatraniyah as-Badarah (Badaran Majatran Republic)".

Article 2
The new flag of Badara shall be the ''National Flag of the Majatran Republic''

Random fact: Any RP law granting extraordinary "emergency powers" or dictator-like powers to a government must be passed by at least a 2/3rds majority, but (like all RP laws) may always be overturned by a simple majority vote of the legislature.
