| Mar-a-Lago-class Destroyer is a medium-sized, multipurpose destroyer, equipped with a single helipad. The main purpose of this project is to equip the Defense Navy of the Republic of Valruzia with fast, agile and maneuverable vessels which will fill the need of the Defense Navy for units capable of carrying defensive operations during fleets and convoy movements against aircrafts, submarines, and other hostile units. The Ministry of National Defense will direct 10.5 billion Valruzian pesos into the process of research and development which will be conducted by the Ministry of National Defense, Valruzian Armaments Group, the University of Nowogard, Valruzian Academy of Science and Valruzian Maritime University in order to best assess the needs of the Navy combined with the capacity and capability of the Valruzian Armaments Group in order to develop the Mar-a-Lago-class destroyer. Additional 7 billion will be arranged from the budget for the national defense in order to help the Valruzian Armaments Group accommodate the current production standards to meet the requirements necessary to produce the new class of corvettes. The vessels will be manufactured by Eckner-Abert at the Shipyard of the Valruzian Maritime University in Szary Kamień. MOND intends to incorporate 12 Mar-a-Lago-class destroyers into the fleet of the Defense Navy which will carry their operations jointly with two aircraft carriers of the Defense Navy: ORW Ruzia and ORW Valusia. The price for one vessel shall be set at 295 million Valruzian pesos.
