Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: May 4362
Description[?]:
In spite of the Federal policy of banning religious hate-speech and defamation, several religious or secular fundamentalists have found a roundabout way to defame religious and ethnic communities. Instead of openly inciting violence and intolerance against citizens for their religious membership or beliefs, the fundamentalists are now using coded words that mean one thing to the general electorate and quite a different and far more pernicious thing to their fundamentalist supporters. It is thus incumbent on the Federal government to put an end to defamation in all its forms, whether done openly or under the cover of dog-whistle politics.
