Message | So many articles, all-encompassing, jammed together in a single bill, with no central theme to warrent linking them together. We will not consider voting in favor of any bills proposed in such a way. |

Message | When articles are presented in a matter that requires a single up/down vote, we will comment in that manner. We request that these matter be broken into single-issue bills, or similar articles centering around a common theme grouped in a logical fashion. We will then be happy to comment on each bill individually. |

Message | RR: I was asking for your opinion so that it would be broken down into smaller bills that would get passed (hopefully). Any input would be greatly appreciated. |

Message | We favor leaving power for governing purely domestic matters with local governments, where we feel it belongs. We favor free trade with other nations, as long as it is fair trade with a level playing field. This means that other nations we trade with must maintain at least equal standards for human rights and the environment. We favor promoting economic growth by keeping the government mostly out of the business of regulating businesses. However, we do favor some regulations of natural monopolies, and antitrust regulation to prevent unnatural monopoly formation. We favor privatization of all functions not strictly required for the government to provide. We favor keeping the government out of regulating the private lives of citizens. We favor protection of the environment, and human rights, but only so far as such regulation does not hobble our private businesses in competition on the world markets. We believe the best governance is one which represents all of the people, in proportions with their numbers. Therefore, we favor representative coalition governments. We believe the above guidelines accurately represent our policies in such a way that all can predict our positions on specific issues without requiring us to go through large tial baloon bills line item by line item, and know what our priorities are. |
