Bill: Landmine Legalization with Restrictions
Details
Submitted by[?]: National Conservative Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: February 4364
Description[?]:
In dire times, we see it as necessary to allow landmines to be used in the defense of the nation and strategic military points. The placement of landmines will be restricted to areas in which there is a low concentration of civilians and will only be used in times of dire national defense. Following the ending of a conflict which draws the Kalistani army to the point of using landmines, the Kalistani government will fully pay for and provide labour for the removal of all landmines placed by the military. |

Message | Although we understand the defense concerns, nothing is keeping areas with low civilian concentration underpopulated forever, and we can't vote for something that risks harming people into the future, no matter how dire the defense situation. |
