| Minister of Foreign Affairs Michael Fabian hails the success of talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Aloria. They have successfully negotiated terms in which the Kingdom of Dorvik and Aloria can work more cooperatively to develop a deep and special partnership. Terms of the summit are as follows: - Ban the testing on nuclear weapons within 50 miles of the border between Dorvik and Aloria - Ban the testing on chemical weapons within 75 miles of the border between Dorvik and Aloria - Promote free trade between the nations of Dorvik and Aloria - A "Dorvish Council" to be set up in Aloria, promoting language, culture and traditions of Dorvik - Review all current travel bans for citizens of Aloria and Dorvik - Approve the extradition of Alorian and Dorvish citizens serving a sentence over seven years in prison - Establish a "Common Arts Policy" meaning art is more easily and exported between our two nations - Neither nation will impose the death penalty on the others' citizen unless approved by that government - Host annual meetings between governments of Aloria and Dorvik The government encourages all parties to support this step forward in relations between our two nations amid tensions in the region. | Message | OOC: They let the Artanian Economic Community, which would be an easy way to establish free trade or they could ratify the Dorvish trade and economic pact which hints at the ability of free trade. You don’t need a specific stipulation. The Dorvish Armed Forces would never text chemical or nuclear weapons near a border. Ever. Unfortunately the RP was done to establish we have nuclear weapons so we’re kind of stuck with them. Our wider culture is Dundorfian, the establishment of a “Dorvish Council” is a little odd. Perhaps, if you want wider cooperation with Aloria you should actively RP and attempt to use the Artanian Union. As a note as RP Law this would need 2/3 of parties voting yes for it for it to be binding. |
