Message | This is an outrageous attack on the living standards of the most vulnerable in our society. Any policy which makes the poor even poorer is a bad policy. Jon Healey, Luthori Workers' Committee |

Message | What you fail to understand here LWC is that I am not completely getting rid of the minimum income, I am just giving these people incentive to find jobs. With the current policy, people can do nothing but just sit around and watch TV and still get a good amount of money. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, This bill is good. It will make sure that people get encouraged to find work instead of being inactive and receiving government pay. This will not only lower unemployment but it will ensure that our people will enjoy more social contacts and interaction which also makes them more happier overall. And all this does not remove the minimum income. It merely puts a time clock on it to encourage people to find a job. Paul Knight, Chairman of the NAL |

Message | Contrary to your assumption, those out of work already are incentivised and motivated to look for work. If getting people back into work was the real intention of the proposal then perhaps it would have included some measures to create jobs. Instead we have a policy which will impact hardest on those who, for a multitude of reasons, are unable to take a full and active role in the labour market. We are also surprised to see a Hosianist Party judge a person's value by economic productivity. Recipients of income support do their bit for Luthori society in many ways and should not be described as 'not contributing to the country'. Jon Healey Luthori Workers' Committee |

Message | Again, referencing what the NAL said, it is giving workers a period of time to get a job, with the current system, workers can just survive off government pay. |

Message | Mr Speaker The Moderate Party is known for voting on what’s best for the people. This bill is not good for the people. The people need to be able to live, not be left out to rot. I yield |

Message | What you mean to say is, you vote for what is best for the lazy people. |
Date | 06:40:07, March 23, 2018 CET | From | White Rose (IA) - M | To | Debating the Effective Workers Bill |
Message | Mr. Speaker To say the Luthorian people is lazy is a disgrace to the Luthorian people. They are very hardworking and the best citizens. I Yield |
Date | 19:19:44, March 23, 2018 CET | From | Hosianist Party of Luthori | To | Debating the Effective Workers Bill |
Message | I am not saying Luthorian people are lazy, I agree they are hard workers. But the current law will have the government supporting some people who are lazy because, lets face it, not all Luthorian citizens are hard working, and it is unfair to those who are for those who aren't to be getting free money from the government. |
