Message | Erardo Candela, ULD First Vice-Chairperson *Takes out glasses, starts to read the article* "The government does not recognise polygamous relationships and prosecute those who pursue a polygamous lifestyle..." If President Reale should veto anything, that should be this very bill. The Government has no right to prosecute anyone, regardless of what that would be for. |

Message | Aurora Adorinda, AI Leader, So the government should not prosecute Paedophiles, rapists, terrorists murderers? Polygamy is usually at the expense of women which are hoarded and deprived of dignity! |
Date | 15:11:59, March 26, 2018 CET | From | Nuova Unione | To | Debating the P.d.I 4/4368 Public Morality |
Message | Erardo Candela, ULD First Vice-Chairperson No, the state should not prosecute criminals, but rather resocialize them. And that kind of Polygamy isn't present in Istalia, as most polygamous marriages consist of tho couples, not more. And a fourth of all of the... Family heads, let's call them, are women. And the state would deprive the women of dignity by not allowing polygamy, as there could be a situation where two women love one man, and he loves them back. Instead of ruining a marriage, they could form a happy family. |
