Bill: Foreign Engagement and Dialogue Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Whig Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: July 4370
Description[?]:
Whereas the isolationist policies pursued in Vanderburg for many years leave Rutania not involved with our neighbors and not seated at the table on international issues. Furthermore this policy only hurts Rutanian companies that seek to effectively compete abroad. This bill proposes reforming our foreign policy in a manner that doesn't take away from hard-working Rutanians but still allows people from all over Terra the opportunity to pursue happiness and economic prosperity that can only be found in Rutania. Rutania should open the doors of dialogue with all nations and that is why this bill seeks to allow all nations to establish an embassy on our soil. By increasing dialogue and ties with nations abroad and offering our aid in exchange for Trading Rights we can give a boost to Rutanian manufacturers and agricultural exporters. We urge the People's Assembly to approve of this bill. |

Random fact: When you join the game, you will find yourself with only zero seats. That's because your party's representatives haven't been elected yet. You need to establish your party's position on issues by proposing several bills that your party wants passed and sending them to vote. This raises your visibility and if you do it enough, you will win seats at the next election. |
