Bill: Free-Market Cabinet Proposal of October 4370

Details

Submitted by[?]: Whig Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 4371

Description[?]:

Considering the stunning results of the election and the failure of the Free-Market parties to defeat the socialist in the Presidential contest we in the Whig Party now believe that the best course of action is to enter into dialogue with the Fascist Party of Rutania. The results of the Presidential contest clearly show that the many voters within the nation that oppose the socialist DSPR felt unsatisfied with the Coalition's candidate Ransford Barlow of the RRP. Many voters instead choice the hard-liner candidate Rafael Goodman of the RFP.

The growing influence of the RFP should not be met with isolation by other parties but instead dialogue of to find what common ground we can achieve for the people. This coalition is the only alternative to a socialist controlled cabinet or one filled by the parties who support and prop up the socialist machine that is the DSPR. Together our parties can bring reasonable Free-Market reforms to the nation all the while we can still prevent extremist ideas from being put into policy.

MessageWe are we not surprised that the crypto-fascist Whigs are so open to "dialogue" with the openly fascist RFP? They spent all of half an election cycle pretending they abhorred extremism.

Random fact: Players have a responsibility to differentiate between OOC (out-of-character) and IC (in-character) behaviour, and to make clear when they are communicating in OOC or IC terms. Since Particracy is a role-playing game, IC excesses are generally fine, but OOC attacks are not. However, players must not presume this convention permits them to harass a player with IC remarks that have a clear OOC context.
