Bill: Inheritance Tax Reform
Details
Submitted by[?]: Luthori Workers' Committee
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: January 4373
Description[?]:
This proposal shall increase government revenue and help to reduce wealth inequality in our society. An inheritance tax would also have a beneficial effect on the economy. Inheritance without taxation weakens the beneficiary’s incentive to work, tempting young inheritors to exit the productive workforce. The tax strengthens this incentive to become a productive member of the workforce. |
