Bill: The Capture Over Killing Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Foward Liberal Party of Hutori
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: November 4373
Description[?]:
With the rapid progress in tazers, we can clearly see a better alternative for our Officers. Not only can tazers incapacitate a single person non-lethally with good training, but they also can be a non-lethal form to detain a non-lethal criminal attempting to escape arrest. With this Act, we can ensure that our Police Force brings all criminals to justice, with firearms still a potentiality for serious crimes or attacks. |

Message | Mr Speaker, In a nation where the death penalty is illegal it seems almost paradoxical that regular officers are armed with firearms instead far less lethal weapons. There is no reason that, on a day to day basis, every officer is given a deadly weapon to deal with petty crime. |
