MessageWe cannot agree with this.

However, we would agree to a Resolution basically saying that lazy people get no benefits.

MessageWe agree with the statement by the DRP, but we want a definition of "lazy people". Like, say, the people are lazy for 3 years. Then benifits are cut.

MessageWe can agree with the thrust of this but we must insist the spelling in the title is corrected.

MessageWe thank the PRP for fixing the spelling, it looks bad on our entire nation if bills are allowed to progress with such easily fixed errors.

However, having re-read this proposal we cannot support it. For if we support removing welfare after a year we are giving defacto support for welfare in that first year and that we cannot do. This party does not support the granting of ANY welfare by the government. If a person cannot look after his / her self and family it is not the right of the state to steal another workers money to give to another person. Such is the role of charities.
