Proposed: The state owns all defence industries.
Article 2

Old value:: There shall be no mandatory military or civilian national service.
Current: All adults upon completion of schooling must serve either a term in the military or a lesser paid term of civilian national service, at their option.
Proposed: All adults upon completion of schooling can be required in times of war to serve a term in the military.

We believe volunteering for Imperial service is essential for screening out citizens. The current law on citizenship still requires the 'test' to be taken after a period of Imperial service. how do you propose this is amended? |

| Message | I'm not sure. However, in times of war, we don't have the luxury of caring who WANTS to fight or not. What we have is the NECESITY of defending ourselves from foreign agressors. Now, it's not as if EVERY time we go to war there is a draft, but whenever the Joint Chiefs deem it necessary, then there must be one, for the sake of Luthori's continuing existance. |

| Message | I can't speak for the other parties hehe, but the SPP believes in government power only insofar as it is necessary to protect civil rights of the citizens. We do not believe that the State has any other purpose. So we should have a military to protect our liberty, but the government owning everything doesn't help in our view. Businessmen don't control the nation, but they should control business. |
