Sept 4381 - elections probably confirm government still has the upper hand (probably) massive military effort out in to ensure election goes ahead legitimately. After election PSD negotiations some local ceasefires. 4382 - peace negotiations begin between government and communists 4283/84 major government offensive in amateria clears most of the province from Communists Sep 4385 - election as a referendum on peace agreement. Peace agreement has a degree of power sharing (communisistr in government? Reform of police etc) After 4385 a few communist dissidents remain in the field (unaffiliated to communist party) |
