Description[?]:
Nassenian Law on Religions Senators, With the Nationalist Legion likely to enter government, there is legitimate concern that the interests of the Aurorian Patriarchal population of the Republic would receive undue governmental support and promotion. With this bill we aim to assure the religious minorities of Selucia that their rights will not be overlooked, while ensuring that the Republic continues to promote the growth and development of peaceful religious institutions. For that reason the Republican Party proposes that current religious legislation that recognizes the Aurorian Patriarchal Church as the state religion be amended to include Religio Seluciana as a "national religion" of the Selucian People, with priority over other faiths, while maintaining the privileged status of Aurorian Patriarchalism as the state religion of the Republic. Additionally, in order to guarantee religious peace and the role that religious organizations play in educating altruistic and community-oriented citizens, the Republican Party proposes to introduce government funding for religious schools, recognizing their educational and peaceful value. We also propose the introduction of government-paid salaries for ministers of religion, in order to guarantee the financial and political independence of all religious organizations in the Republic.
