Details

Submitted by[?]: Est Pars Humanitatis et Socialismus

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 4381

Description[?]:

People can not chose where they are born, some people are born in to luxury and wealth, others into war, terror, desease, famine or poverty. People who escapes these conditions should be welcomed as citizens and assets to our country, and they should be free from persecution and institutionalized racism.

We are only asking for the right of these human beings to live worthy and free lives, nothing else.

MessageSenators,

The defining feature of a Republic is that it is laws not men that rule. This also means that laws are essential for liberty, as without the rule of law we are all subject to arbitrary domination. Ignoring violations of the laws lead to the breakdown of social order and the rule of law. This extends particularly to those who by their very first act in Selucia violate its laws, id est illegal immigrants. If we fail to punish even a single person that breaks our laws, we abandon our commitment to the rule of law and forfeit our liberty.
