Message | Mr. Speaker, It is my pleasure to introduce the New Liberals' plan for Tax Reform, a bill we are calling the "The Comprehensive Enterprise National Tax Reform Adjustment Legislation" Act or "CENTRAL Act" for short. We believe that this bill maintains support for the impoverished, while also reducing the tax burden on our nation's job creators and charitable institutions. Furthermore, it gets the government out of the cryptocurrency game. This bill DOES NOT: - Increase taxes on the poor, as it does not raise our 0 percent tax rate on essential products. - Create a national debt, as it raises taxes on luxury item purchases in order to lower taxes on corporations. This bill DOES: - Reduce the tax burden on individuals by allowing charitable donations to religious and other institutions to go untaxed, including - if I'm not mistaken - those non-profit research universities with religious ties who push forward the frontiers of science every day. - Increase Hutori's global competitiveness by keeping our tax rate squarely in the bottom 20 of all nations - Allow investors new choices in currency by removing the state monopoly on cryptocurrencies. - Promote fiscal responsibility by remaining debt neutral. We hope parties on both sides of the aisle will see benefits in this bill to all Hutorians, and look forward to a vigorous debate ahead. Message | Mr. Speaker, The New Liberals are pleased with provisional support for this measure! We are unwilling to budge on the corportate tax cut but would entertain the Ultrackian Socialist leader's suggestion that we drop Article 2 on cryptocurrencies, if - and only if - my right honourable friend, the member for Anslem Centre and his Conservative Party would still support the bill without Article 2.
