Message | Mr. Speaker, We open the floor to debate, would the Imperial Diet accept these cabinet nominations to form a new government? Dr. Thomas Mercer HDU National Committee Member |
Date | 22:25:51, April 26, 2018 CET | From | Social Democratic Party | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of May 4384 |
Message | Mr Speaker, This is a democratic travesty. The largest party in the diet is allowed no influence what so ever. In the Geharon Archduchy we won over 50% of the vote. The people were unhappy and you choose to act upon it by excluding 1/4th of this diet? The lack of influence for this party is a shame upon this diet. Frederick Coombes Chairman of the social democratic Party |

Message | Mr Speaker, We accept the will of the people. The Royalists have been handed our worst result in 74 years and we have to reflect on why. I will support a Coalition which can carry a majority in the Diet, but I am a firm believer that the largest Party should try to form one first, if the SDP can get a majority, so be it. Random fact: When it comes to creating a Cultural Protocol in a Culturally Open nation, players are not necessarily required to provide a plausible backstory for how the nation's cultural background developed. However, the provision of a plausible backstory may be a factor in whether Moderation approves the Cultural Protocol if players in surrounding nations question its appropriateness for their region of the game map. |
