Details

Submitted by[?]: National Progress Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 4386

Description[?]:

(This bill was proposed by the minister of Trade and Industry Ana Parsons)
When looking for a job, only the qualification of the applicant should matter and not the origin or nationality. With the current legislation, not only are we depriving ourselves from some of the must qualified members of our society, but it is also completly unfair and immoral to deprive every foreign nationals from their right to work, which is one of the most fundamental right that can possible exist. Let's bring back equality in our country, let's bring back the right to work for everyone.

MessageMr Speaker,

We believe that Hutorian companies should be employing Hutorians first, before bringing people in from other countries. It is for that reason we will be opposing this bill.

MessageMr Speaker,

We require further clarity on the mechanisms of this legislation. We believe in the equality in right to work for all members of the community whether citizens or foreign nationals who hold legal Hutori residency, but share the hesitance of the CPH regarding bringing in foreign workers over local candidates.
