Description[?]:
While the SDLP believes in protecting our natural environment we also believe that we need to be sensible with regards this resource that can be used to increase employment and export opportunities. Also local authorities are in a better position to create local area development plans that ensure a good balance between domestic, industrial and commercial land use. This includes farming land. Through such development plans those in the farming industry can be encouraged to diversify activities enabling sustainability. |

Message | Also the withdrawal of these treaties is only so that we can change responsibilities with regards housing policy to allow local authorities to take on such activity. We would believe that a revised treaty be drafted with the fights concerning eminent domain. |

Message | Extremely strongly opposed to screwing around with Kirlawa's treaties. Mildly opposed to the other two. |

Message | Kirlawa is the only country who ratified the treaty, it is a treaty that hinders the ability to have local authorities zone land for different uses as the central government takes sole responsibility for social housing. With this legislation local authorities would be in a better position to plan for the future and help develop our agricultural, industrial and commercial sectors. |

Random fact: When your party holds the foreign affairs department, you can create new treaties. However, before writing anything new, it is a good idea to search for existing treaties which already accomplish what you desire. |
