Message | I will use an example as I have done very rarely: If you own a multinational that exports oil, and you have a television network, and there is a party that wants to ban the export of oil, in its radio stations, and television channels, that party will not be well talked about, both to protect citizens from the manipulation of large corporations and to guarantee freedom of expression, we propose this bill. |
Date | 17:57:47, May 03, 2018 CET | From | United We Can | To | Debating the Law on the nationalization of telecommunications. |
Message | It is difficult to approve, and it is a very sensitive topic, that is why we have created this space for reflection in the chamber that represents the people of Malivia. |
Date | 10:07:57, May 04, 2018 CET | From | Fatherland Front | To | Debating the Law on the nationalization of telecommunications. |
Message | Complete state television and radio? That is a little harsh. |
Date | 15:05:43, May 05, 2018 CET | From | Hosian National Party | To | Debating the Law on the nationalization of telecommunications. |
Message | This law limits a lot of rights to small and big companies. Our party wants a good equilibrium of private and public sectors, as the government's bureaucracy isn't unlimited. |
Date | 12:12:33, May 06, 2018 CET | From | Wind of Change | To | Debating the Law on the nationalization of telecommunications. |
Message | We cannot support it, we believe in freedom of expression and we think that private media is necessary as well. However we always will support Malivian Public TV and radio as an educational, independent, plural and reliable media. |
Date | 17:21:21, May 06, 2018 CET | From | United We Can | To | Debating the Law on the nationalization of telecommunications. |
Message | People's information is not a business. |
Date | 17:23:34, May 06, 2018 CET | From | United We Can | To | Debating the Law on the nationalization of telecommunications. |
Message | We need sources of information, without any hidden interest, whose sole objective is to educate, inform and entertain people. We can not allow, that the only news that the Malivianos see, is through a macro company belonging to a great investor, or a person who enrriquece with the oil. |
Date | 19:57:48, May 06, 2018 CET | From | Hosian National Party | To | Debating the Law on the nationalization of telecommunications. |
Message | If Fatherland Front says that it's a bit harsh, then it's TOO HARSH. |
