Bill: Prescription Drugs Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Social Democratic Party of Darnussia

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: November 2197

Description[?]:

No-one should have to pay to be ill, we must try and make sure that the society is fair for all, and that no-one has to fork out a fortune for drugs to help themselves or their family get better. That is why we propose that we pay, in part for presriptions for anyone who is not low income, say around 25% of the price for those who are not on a low income gets paid, and those on a low income obviously still get 100% of the price paid.

We must ensure that, failingto make drugs free for all, we have drugs free for some and paid in part for others.

Random fact: When it comes to creating a Cultural Protocol in a Culturally Open nation, players are not necessarily required to provide a plausible backstory for how the nation's cultural background developed. However, the provision of a plausible backstory may be a factor in whether Moderation approves the Cultural Protocol if players in surrounding nations question its appropriateness for their region of the game map.
