Voting deadline: July 4389
Description[?]:
Part of the collectivization reforms, this bill breaks up large private corporations previously owned by oligarchs and directly transfers ownership of them to their employees. The previous supreme leaderships of corporations, previously run through a board of directors, will now be administered by democratic workers councils. SECTION I— All private owned corporations previously owned by oligarchs arrested in the demonarchization phase of reforms are hereby granted ownership of all their assets to employees within; Leaderships of said corporations are to now be governed by democratic workers councils. SECTION II— Workers are free to establish their own private enterprises, called "Workers Enterprises" by the government, but are subject to regulations to ensure that they do not become large and monopolistic. SECTION III— Foreign investment shall be subjected to regulation as well. Foreign investors are not entitled to a majority share in state run industry as well as Workers Enterprises. The Transitional Republic of Trigunia and its successor state, the Trigunian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic promote a mindset of self-sufficiency, limiting foreign trade to other socialist brother nations only. However, in dire times such as natural disasters, aid from foreign nations, regardless whether they are capitalistic or not, will be accepted. |
