Message | Mr. Speaker, While we are pleased with your intentions, provisions such as the nationalization of the power grid and the tightening of the labor market to not allow an employers who fire workers who have gone on strike at all for any reason are a little too far. We must draw the line between economic justice and socialism. The HPP shall make an alternative economic bill cutting those two provisions but leaving the rest, making it a good compromise bill. |
Date | 07:12:27, May 09, 2018 CET | From | Holy Ecumenical Patriarchate of Luthori | To | Debating the Every man a king act 4389 |
Message | Mr. Speaker, The Ecumenical Patriarch Antonios, being the representative of GOD, Vehk, and the ALMSIVI on earth, must look to the holy scripts of the prophets to find an answer to this question, and he in his infinite wisdom has discovered in the writings of Vehk himself: "Those who work hard and in the name of GOD [and the prophets] will reap the fruits of justice which may be only sewn by the internal justice of the individual, and not through the encouragement of the other." This obviously requires that the Ecumenical Patriarch in all of his holy wisdom must vote no on your bill, though he does look forward to potential co-operation with GOD and the Prophet's government in order to reach a more perfect society. He will extend to you the offer, however, to amend the bill, adding a clause which involves the strengthening of state funding towards church institutions, in which case your offer would become acceptable. With the blessings of Vehk, -Grand Vizier Tarion of the Ecumenical Patriarchate of the Holy Empire of Luthori |
