| Comrades, Under the leadership of Präsident Jürgen Feistel Aloria has made much progress in the struggle against imperialism, exploitation and structural inequality. Prosperity has not been this widespread since the glories of the Volksrepublik Aloria (4378-4384). Due to ill health, he shall not be standing at the next election. The National Ruling Council has determined that Minister for Health and Social Services Halag Bruch shall run for the Presidency as the candidate for Rote Fraktion in his stead. I thank Präsident Feistel on behalf of the nation for his unwavering courage and resolve in the face of the counter revolutionary onslaught of global capital. Broken and defeated, only last month a foreign government came to him on their knees pleading for their capitalist masters. With no thought for their own citizenry they offered the product of working class labour in exchange for "new opportunities for investment". They offered the profits of exploitation in exchange for our liberty. We are fortunate that it was Präsident Feistel who heard this offer, no doubt the slaves of global imperialism who sit on the opposition benches would have leapt at the chance to put the working class in chains. It is a reminder that in the pursuit of true freedom, we must be forever vigilant. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- With this in mind, the government announces the creation of 4 new units within the Alorian Armed Forces (AAF), to best defend Aloria now and in the future. These new units shall be all female and pave the way for greater gender equality reforms under future Präsident Halag Bruch. Women make up only 7.5% of the current armed forces and future Präsident Bruch has already begun drawing up a pathway for the creation on Terra's first all female military. As Präsident Bruch has stated, the exclusion of women from the defence realm has had a detrimental impact on intelligence gathering and building community relations.
