Message | International Aid is essential. In the result, of a disaster happening here and us be in need of International Aid we should be looking into treaties and declarations to try and keep the people of or Terra safe. We should not be considering withdrawing international aid. |

Message | We would have voted for the bill if Article 1 was changed to 'The government gives moderate aid to countries in need'. We believe that, even as the leader on the global stage domestically, environmentally, economically, diplomatically, as a nation, giving too much aid will allow us to prop up dictatorial nations who we will be inclined to help to solve their nations problems. But time and time again, we have seen that giving aid to such nations is worthless and frankly a waste of time. Why? The leaders of these nations, rather than investing them into spending on education, healthcare, infrastructure and crucial social services, they have decided to transfer them from their state agencies into their own bank accounts, using their money to engage in lavish spending on luxury goods, mansions, all things which do not benefit those that have suffered tremendously under their disgusting, heartless, irrational, immoral administrations. It's time to step up and finally say: Enough is enough. Beluzia will not bow down to nations who do not have their citizens' interests at heart. We do not want an extreme isolationist state. We want an internationalist state who has a foreign policy that is based on our own interests rather than the interests of other nations and a foreign policy that intervenes when necessary, not whenever, which will lead to pointless wars. It's time to resume traditional diplomacy to solve the troubling problems that nations face in this state of turmoil. |
