Message | Mr Speaker, Should our budget bill pass, these new tax measures would leave Hutori with a 26.7 billion Lira surplus. We have given every bracket a 2% cut, while simplifying the tax code and increasing the personal income tax threshold from 17,500 to 20,000. The surplus remaining would allow us to eliminate the essential goods tax, and possibly decrease the luxury goods and corporate taxes as well. Message | Mr Speaker I can not and will not ever vote to decrease taxes, if this bill passes it will help contribute to the destruction of our public sector and income inequality as well as our financial crisis, we can and will not vote for this bill |

Message | Mr Speaker, I find it amusing, and terrifying at the same time, that the Ultrackians can continue to stand in this house and preach socialist policies, yet it was socialist policies that led to the destruction of the Hutorian economy in the first place. Brett Martin MP for Wrightstown Minister of Finance House Leader of the Royalist Party Conservative Caucus |
Date | 16:27:41, May 15, 2018 CET | From | New Liberal Party of Hutori | To | Debating the Income tax proposal of May 4393 |
Message | Mr. Speaker, We will vote for this bill, but ask that our coalition partners promise to maintain the surplus as a "rainy day" fund. The New Liberals' support of fiscal responsibility requires that we save some of the money in case of a global financial crisis . We will support this tax relief for the Hutorian people, and would support a reduction to the corporate tax greater than or equal to 1 percent, however, we would like to see the essential goods tax stay where it is. A 3 percent tax is not too much for every person to pay on goods like clothing and food - especially considering the generosity of the Hutori welfare state in matters of health and education. Russell Selwyn MP for Sutton East Deputy Chancellor Parliamentary Leader of the New Liberals |
Date | 17:12:39, May 15, 2018 CET | From | Hutori Party | To | Debating the Income tax proposal of May 4393 |
Message | Mr Speaker, We will agree not lower other taxes if it means we have the support of our coalition partners. Brett Martin MP for Wrightstown Minister of Finance House Leader for the Royalist Party Conservative Caucus |
Date | 18:44:45, May 15, 2018 CET | From | Hutori Party | To | Debating the Income tax proposal of May 4393 |
Message | Mr Speaker, As our budget has passed, we will now be putting these tax changes up for a vote. We hope all parties will show Hutorians that they genuinely care about them and give them the tax break that they deserve. Brett Martin MP for Wrightstown Minister of Finance |
