Bill: Inheritance Law

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 4394

Description[?]:

Mr. President,

Our current national legislation has no rules concerning the inheritance of private persons, except for his or her Will. We see that this has a negative impact on familiy life, since people who die without a Will of their own leave their posessions behind for their children or close family to fight over. Corrupt persons and companies try to steal away this inheritance, since there's no law in place to stop them. We propose a National Inheritance Law to safeguard the inheritance of private persons, with the exception that private regulation (a Will) is allowed and not regulated by the governement. This law must be seen as a safeguarding net behind the private Will of a person.

PROPOSED: There is a regulated inheritance law, but private regulation of inheritance is allowed and not regulated.
