Message | Our penitentiary system should not be built on punishment, but on reform instead. Killing a human being is inhumane in itself, as it means taking away the life (and consequently everything else) from somebody. The accused might have done it before, but doing the same to them is not going to repair the damage they caused, or bring back the lifes they might have taken. Killing them is the same wrong as it were when they killed somebody. With the difference that we as a society are supposed to be civilized, and especially our law. Everybody must be equal against the law, and taking someone's life must be illegal, both for individuals and for the States. Anna Bird President of Likatonia |

Message | No it won’t bring any lives back, but death must be paid with death. And, besides, all penitentiary systems should be based on punishment. Punishments are consequences to illegal, immoral and unjust acts. Therefore, the death penalty stops being an inhuman act because it is solving a debt that must be paid.
