Bill: RL:13 - Income tax proposal of February 4395

Details

Submitted by[?]: 匡民會 Renewal 🤚

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill proposes to change income taxes. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: October 4395

Description[?]:

Mr. Speaker,

This new tax plan for Indrala will pay for essential upkeep for defensive and security purposes. However, it is important to note that only the top 3 brackets have been amended and only the richest of Indrala will be paying most taxes. This will help to build a stronger and fairer economy, while giving the government more room to expand its services.

MessageMr. Speaker,

This is entirely too much of a an increase in taxes for the upper three tiers. 80 percent? That is much too high of a value, and while my party does support a fairer Indrala, this goes too far. What the republicans will end up doing is driving the rich from Indrala to other places across the world, most likely destroying our economy, government income, and the welfare of other Indralans.
